Fox Sports acquires Wimbledon TV rights in Asia for 6 years
The Fox International sports network channel, Fox Sports, has secured the exclusive broadcasting and multimedia rights to air the Wimbledon Championships in Asia until 2020.
Coverage will be shown on terrestrial, cable, Asian cable and satellite TV networks and will also allow viewers to catch up via the on-demand service using the Fox Sport Play website. In addition to English, tennis fans in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia will also have access commentary in Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai and Mandarin.

The company already boasts coverage of both the Australian Open and French Open Grand Slam grand slam events across the continent.
