Andy Murray handed tough draw at Wimbledon

The draw for the 2015 Championships took place at the All England Club and Britain’s Andy Murray faces a tough passage to the final. They say you have to beat the best to win Wimbledon and if Andy is he will potentially have to overcome Rafael Nadal in the Quarter-Finals, Roger Federer in the Semi-Final and Novak Djokovic in the final on July 12th.

He also has a tough opening match facing world number 58 Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan which will be played on 30th June. Murray has faced Kukushkin twice before on the Australian hard courts in 2012. He also has a potential last sixteen match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who can be a tricky opponent on his day although his form does tend to blow hot and cold.

However Murray is coming into Wimbledon in impressive form having won the Aegon title at Queens Club a week ago where he played some good tennis and rarely looked troubled. His victory over Kevin Anderson in the final was his fourth title.

In the Ladies draw Laura Watson plays in her first Grand Slam in a year and a half and plays Russia’s Evgeniya Rodina. Watson did though look out of sorts in her first match back but then again this was to be expected after such a long time away from the game. Britain’s number one Heather Watson has a tricky opening start against Caroline Garcia.

We hope you enjoy the next two weeks of tennis and if you are still looking to go we have a few debenture tickets and hospitality packages available for each day of the Championships. For what it’s worth we think Roger Federer will win the Men’s title and the Sabrina Williams will win the Ladies!
